Foster My Leads

Mark Anderson is a freelance web developer and computer programmer who has worked alongside marketing and SEO professionals to create custom web content and computer applications using development tools such as WordPress, Joomla!, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Microsoft Visual Studio. Mark has development experience using web and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, Visual Basic, and Java.

He developed a passion for computer programming at a young age which further increased to include web design and web development while taking college classes. His first early experience writing programs was using a Basic Programming Cartridge inserted into his Atari 400 Computer Gaming Console, using a self-teaching guide by Wiley Publishers (Albrecht, Robert L., et al. BASIC 2nd Edition: A Self-Teaching Guide. Wiley, 1978).

At that time he did not have any recording media such as a tape drive upon which to save his programming work, so he hand-wrote every line of code upon several sheets of letter size paper, so that he could re-type the code to run his programs. He later replaced the Atari 400 with an Atari 800 Home Personal Computer which he modified, with the help of some engineering and service tech friends, to add an intelligent PCB interface to save his programs on a floppy disk drive.

Through his own personal growth and work experience he developed the skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting to make things work-out with less effort for the people he served. For example, while at his first job working as an electro-mechanical assembler he retro-fitted a new read-head assembly to work properly as assembled into the currently-used older floppy drive chassis. He also wrote the first personal computer test program in BASIC for the company's new floppy drive product line.

His passion to help others to be successful with their challenges is the driving desire which has led Mark to create Foster My Leads to provide useful web tools and resources for business professionals and entrepreneurs.
